Engagement Managers

Copenhagen, Denmark | Volunteer position | Duration: October 2021 - May 2022

Engagement is the heart of oikos Copenhagen and is committed to creating a highly motivating environment in the teams. Lack of commitment is a relevant issue in voluntary-based organisations; this is why this function exists – to ensure that the members are well connected, engaged and motivated to support the organisation throughout the year. Engagement’s objective is to achieve a balance between fun togetherness, enabling personal growth and the achievement of the projects’ and organisational goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES and activities of the ENGAGEMENT Team

  • Create an enthusiastic atmosphere within the oikos Copenhagen.

  • Build and nurture interpersonal relationships across the organisation.

  • Monitor the pulse of the organisation by conducting internal surveys and mediating internal issues.

  • Plan and organise formal and informal internal events.

  • Establish partnerships for engaging activities.

  • Organise oikos Copenhagen x Student Innovation House Friday bar.

  • Report to the Head of Engagement and convey engagement activities to Project Team members.

  • Take part in weekly meetings with the Engagement Team.

COMMITMENT

You are our impact! To achieve our mission, we relly on volunteers who are able to commit time to our organisations and our fellow members. Therefore, we are looking for sociable and driven students who are able to put in 3-5 hours per week into oikos (more or less depending on activties). The organisation is committed towards our oikees and we do our best to bring you the most value in terms of social offerings and practical gains. We are looking for new members who are excited about this aspect of our organisational culture and are eager to contribute to it.

  • Join the engagement team: The engagement team is responsible for organising social and personal growth activities (e.g., through oikos Academy, Random Coffees, and Julefroikost)
