*Carbon Literacy Certificate Workshop*
Do you speak Carbon?
About the event
There is scientific consensus that the earth’s climate is warming. The effects are devastating and we need to act now in order to prevent further damages. To understand the impact and the changes that are needed, society will have to become carbon literate. And this means students as well.
By joining the Carbon Literacy workshop you learn about the impacts of climate change on your everyday activities and various actions on how to reduce carbon emissions. The program highlights the need for substantial change and encourages you, as an individual to have a cascade effect on a much wider audience - your workplace, community, school, university, or other settings.
After participating in the workshop and submitting a small assignment, you become officially certified as Carbon Literate.
This is a workshop with discussions, exercises, and a small final assignment.
Note that this workshop consists of 2 sessions:
Session 1: Thursday 18th March 15:00-17:30
Session 2: Tuesday 23rd March 15:00-17:30
