CBS PRME presents: Carbon Literacy Workshop

Ready to be Carbon Literate?

For all future carbon literates, it will be possible to attend this 2-day workshop for discovering the scopes of Co2E emissions. The participants will be able to calculate their own co2 emission levels and get a certification.

This workshop will be led by

  • Caroline A. Pontoppidan, Associate Professor, Department of Accounting & Academic director CBS PRME. Her research often engages with the institutionalization of global standards into local context – and challenges herein. Caroline is the Academic Director of the responsible management education (PRME) initiative at CBS and is also leading the Carbon Literacy workshop development at CBS.

  • Lavinia Cristina Iosif-Lazar is a project lead on Principles of Responsible Management Education at the CBS Teaching & Learning Department. Lavinia’s work centres on curriculum development, climate and carbon literacy and systemic thinking in management education, as well as assisting in the development of teaching materials.

  • Niki Bey is a Senior Manager in Ramboll Management Consulting’s Strategic Sustainability Consulting department. He is a Mechanical Engineer by education and holds a PhD in sustainability assessment & implementation. His experience includes dedicated science-based corporate climate target setting, carbon- and sustainability road mapping, and implementation processes. Particularly in sectors such as buildings, infrastructure, and manufacturing.

  • Sofie Nexø is a Consultant in Ramboll Management Consulting’s Strategic Sustainability Consulting department. She holds a master’s degree in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School with a specialization in circular economy.

How do sustainability and consulting blend?


In this session, Emma, Carolina and Felix from Nordic Sustainability will give an overview of the fast-moving fields of sustainability and consulting and how they are developing.

Starting off with an introduction to Nordic Sustainability’s approach to creating and implementing actionable sustainability strategies, moving on to discuss some career stories and opportunities within the field, taking you through the current corporate sustainability mega-trends, and rounding off with some questions and answers, this session will provide all of us with valuable insider reflections of the world of sustainability consulting.

  • Emma Ager Jønbech is currently working as a Consultant and Executive Assistant at Nordic Sustainability. She is leading smaller projects and supporting internal development of the company. She has a bachelor in European Business from Copenhagen Business School, and is a former 180dc student consultant who stayed connected as a mentor, case judge, and workshop facilitator.

  • Carolina Mariotto is a Consultant at Nordic Sustainability. She has a keen eye for numbers and supports clients on topics of climate, ESG, and supply chain. She has a Master of International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School.

  • Felix Bärmann is a Senior Consultant at Nordic Sustainability. He works on sustainability strategy and implementation, using the Future-Fit Business Benchmark. He has previously worked in Vestas’ sustainability department and holds a Master of Business Administration & Philosophy from Copenhagen Business School.
