Programme Details
Lecture 1: CSR Reporting in a Danish Framework
This first lecture is themed: “Is the Danish case a point of reference for future CSR reporting developments?” This lecture will feature dynamic perspectives in this field from:
- Carina Ohm, Executive Director Climate
Change and Sustainability Services at EY
- Vibeke Molin, CSR Manager at Skandia Bank
- Nicoline Weih, CSR Communication at Skandia Pension & Health Insurance.
Carina from EY will cover the very interesting ' Introduction to NEW Danish regulatory requirements regarding CSR Reporting & Introduction to recent legislation and international reporting standards related to CSR' and what this means to business & society. While the two Skandia representatives will take us through the 'Strategic Decision Making Process Around the CSR Reporting in Skandia Bank'. Further, this event will be brought together nicely with an interactive audience-led panel debate at the end.
Lecture 2: CSR Reporting as a Competitive Advantage
This second lecture is themed: “CSR Reporting as a Competitive Advantage – “How to Increase Bottom Line through Shared Value?” This lecture features dynamic perspectives in this field from PWC's Director of CSR and Non-financial assurance Jens Pultz Pedersen. Jens will introduce the challenging 'Law areas of; Human Rights, Anti-Corruption & Gender Equality'. Following this; Thomas Susé, Head of Group CSR at DSV will present the ' The Horizontal and Vertical Processes Involved in Developing a CSR Report in DSV'. Furthermore, the event will be brought together nicely with an interactive audience-led panel debate at the end moderated by Joachim Kattrup - Editor & Journalist at Økonmiske Ugebrev.
Lecture 3: Building a Report in a Danish Company
Ever wondered why and how CSR Reports are made? At this inspiring lecture you'll get the newest insight into how to build a CSR report in a Danish company and why CSR reporting is so important.
Come and meet talented CSR professionals from Deloitte and Pandora in an audience-led panel debate and get ready to gain new perspectives in the field. Firstly, the lecture features dynamic perspectives in the field of CSR from Deloitte's Marie Voldby, Director of Strategic Risk. Marie will present an overview of the 'Motivations, strategic considerations and processes taken when shaping CSR Reporting in businesses using Flying Tiger as a case example. Next, Pandora's Trine Pondal, Business Partner, Group Ethics, will take us through how to integrate the law areas: human rights, anti-corruption & gender equality into reporting and auditing while creating value for the business. The event will be wrapped up nicely with an interactive audience led panel debate.
Lecture 4: Linking CSR Reporting to Business Strategy
This very last lecture focuses on how to link CSR-reporting to business strategy ad how companies involve different stakeholders in these considerations. CSR reporting and how it is linked to business strategy is becoming more and more important to companies in today's business. A lot of strategic considerations are taken into account when shaping a CSR report and companies see it as one of their major challenges to intergrate CSR-reporting and business strategy. This lecture teaches you how companies like Novo Nordisk and Skandia Bank involve their stakeholders in CSR-reporting and link it to their business strategy.
