*Capitalism, Sustainability & System Critique*
Join Green Week for a discussion about Capitalism, Sustainability and System Critique
about the event
Is sustainability possible within the current political and economic system? Can we transform the system through sustainable production and consumption, by working with the SDGs, or through partnerships? Or is there something inherent in the capitalistic system that makes a sustainable future impossible?
During Green Week, Associate Professor Laura Horn will facilitate a discussion on the fundamentals of the global economic system and the problems that arise from these.
We will talk about the relation between capitalism and (gender) inequality, climate change and exploitation. With this in mind, we will investigate the possibility of real solutions and systemic change.
