Every year, oikos Copenhagen elects a new board to lead and guide the organisation in the upcoming year. The 2021 elections will be held in mid-May (dates TBD).
The current board will host an election-information session on April 15, 2021 from 18-19. There you will get the chance to hear more about the board, oikos Copenhagen, and ask questions if you are interested in running for a position.
open board positions
All board positions will be open for election to any student that will be studying at a Danish university for most of June 2021 to June 2022. The mandate will last from June 2021 to May 2022.
Position descriptions:
*The Vice President position can be combined with any board position (excl. Head of Finance). The combination of a Head of function position with the Vice President position will require a heavier time-investment for all tasks to be well-cared for.

Deadline for submission of application: To be announced shortly. Election materials are to be sent out to all members of oikos Copenhagen 10 days before the election.
Elections will be held in two rounds
President Election: May 18 or 19 (TBD) from 17-18
Vice President and Board Election: May 25 or 26 (TBD) from 17-18.
If you are interested in running for a board position, you can request updates regarding the election and election dates by submitting your email address. We will delete this information after the election.

Q: Who can apply for a board position?
A: The only criteria is that you are a current student of a Danish University for most of June 2021 until June 2022.
Q: I have not previously been a member of oikos Copenhagen, can I run for a board position?
A: Yes, most definitely!
Q: What do I need to do to run for a board position (incl. president and vice president)?
A: 11 days before the election, you will need to submit a motivational letter, 3-5 minute video and a strategy formulation for your mandate in oikos Copenhagen.
Q: I am interested in running for President and a board position, can I run for another board position should someone else get elected?
A: Yes, you can run for a board position (incl. Vice President) after the President election has been held. For practical reasons, you can not run for two or more board positions. Beware that you will need to hand in your application for the specific board position 11 days before the election, incl. motivational letter, strategy formulation and video.
